Extra, Extra Read All About It...

A couple weeks ago the Daily Herald called us saying that people were talking about our products. They asked if they could interview us about our business and baby items. *Interchangeable Headbands*

For those of you that have visited our booth at the Quilted Bear lately, you are probably familiar with our interchangeable headbands. We have different colors and size for little ladies of all sizes.
All of our Tootsie Bug Headbands are sewn rather then glued, for longer durability, this makes the Nylon ones completely machine washable. That's right, when they start looking dirty and gross you can just throw them in the washing machine, instead of having to buy a new one.
You can mix and match them with any of our small or large Flower Clips and/or Bow Clips (with a non-slip grip) You simply slip the clip through the ribbon pocket on the top of the headband.
We introduced a new nylon headband a couple weeks ago. It is a pink or purple polka dot. It is $8.00 and super cute with a pink or purple flower attached. Here are a few pictures of the headbands that we carry including the POLKA DOT. =]

Art City Days Parade

Tootsie Bug was lucky enough to have the opportunity to sponsor the Springville Art City Days Baby Contest. It was so much fun!! We have actually decided to take it over completely next year. So if you are interested in being a judge or volunteer next year, please let us know.

The pictures below are from the parade float for the winners. Aren't they cute!? We only got a couple of pictures taken before the battery died. But hey, it's the thought that counts...right?

We want to thank all the judge's and volunteers that helped us out this year at the contest. We couldn't have done it without you guys!! Your the best!!!

Freedom Festival 1st Place Winner...

Tootsie Bug Photo Shoot

We can hardly believe that Summer is just around the corner. I'm sure you are just as excited for the warm weather as we are.

We are pleased to announce that you can now buy Tootsie Bug's entire product line at the Quilted Bear in Provo. We have recently added our Interchangeable Headbands, Interchangeable Flowers (of all sizes), Interchangeable bows and our pre-made infant/toddler headbands to the end cap at the QB next to our original booth. Such good news for us and definitely more convenient for you! =] Stop in often, as our product selection is constantly changing.

June 13 & 14, 2008 we will be at Springville's Art City Days. Our booth is located on 200 south just east of Main Street. The hours are 9am – to dusk.
Attend the parade on Saturday morning at 9:00am and watch for our Baby Contest Float for all of the 1st Place winners! We will be handing out Tootsie Bug discount coupons and prizes!!

* Buggie Bottoms *

Our adorable"Buggie Bottoms" product line are made from high quality infant/toddler tights. They come in many colors, all of which are hand dye. We then embellish them with different rhinestone designs and sayings. This is the perfect accessory to go under our Tootsie Bug Tutu's. (Custom Orders made to match!)

* Tutu's *

Price Range: $19.95 - $45.00
We sew elastic band together in several different sizes, then hand tie various colors of tulle all the way around the elastic. Most of our custom tutus have between 50-75 yards of tulle each, making the tutus very full and princess like. Some are sold alone while others are embellished with a big Gerber Daisy at the waist, ribbon, bows and rhinestones. There are lots of fun colors and styles to choose from and our bows, headbands, Glamour Tees & Buggie Bottoms are made to match.

* Hair Bow Clippies *

Price Range: $7.95 - $9.95 (Sold in sets of two)
Our Hair Bow Clippies are made with one or two prong salon quality alligator clips. The entire upper part of the clip is lined with various colored ribbon. The ribbon is then heat sealed on both ends to prevent fraying. The bows are all hand tied, heat sealed and then glued to the ribbon lined clips.We also add a small liner to the top, inside of the clip to help keep them from slipping out of the hair. Some are sold alone, others have flowers, rhinestones or both added to them. They are sold in sets of two. Several colors and sizes are also available.

Nylon headbands are made with exceptionally soft nylon. To achieve the desired color we hand dye all nylons and wash them all to improve softness and color stay. Next ribbon is tied into a bow and is hand sewn to the headband to ensure the highest possible quality. All of Tootsie Bug's Nylon Headbands are sewn rather then glued which makes the back of the headbands tremendous soft for baby's delicate heads. A small flower with a rhinestone center is added. The headbands come in a variety of colors and sizes.

* Ribbon Lined / Flower Clippies *

(Embellished with Flowers)
Price Range: $2.25 - $4.25 (depending on style and size)
Ribbon lined clippies are made with one or two prong salon quality alligator clips. We use high temperature glue guns to line the entire upper part of the clip in various colored ribbon. To ensure against fraying we heat seal both ends of the ribbon. We sell them, ribbon lined or we attach flowers, big or small, with rhinestone centers. We also add a small liner to the top, inside of the clip to help keep them from slipping out of the hair. Clippies come in several colors and sizes. The smaller ones are sold in sets of two while the bigger ones are sold individually.
